Colorado Real Estate Power of Attorney Form

The Colorado Real Estate Power of Attorney explicitly grants another person the capability of selling, buying, managing, or refinancing a property in the name of the party distributing the powers. As some of the more generic POAs are less defined, this version is more clear-cut as to what the authorities will be surrounding the property in question. If this is of interest, conveying parties must execute the following within the form:

Following the completion of the document, the recipient of the powers will then be authorized to act on the principal’s behalf.

Signing Requirements – Acknowledgment by the acceptance and endorsement of a qualified notary must be obtained to put the arrangement into effect (§ 15-14-705) .
